Principal Investigator
Dr. TANMOY BASU
Dr. Tanmoy Basu did his Ph. D. from Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar in 2015 in experimental condensed matter physics. Thereafter, he joined CNRS, University of Orleans, France as a postdoctoral researcher. In 2016, he accepted the offer for Research Fellow position at Centre for Advanced 2D Materials (CA2DM) and Centre for Ion Beam Applications (CIBA), National University of Singapore.
His research experience includes focused ion beam-based lithography, nanofabrication, nanofluidic and electronic properties of 2 dimensional materials, ion beam modification of materials, ion beam analysis of materials, growth and characterization of thin films etc. He has worked extensively in designing and development of various ion (beam)-related setups. His present research is related to photonic integrated circuits and NV centre based quantum sensing.
