The goal of the Quantum Instrumentation for Science and Engineering (QISE) Act, a bipartisan bill that Jim Baird (IN-04) and Andrea Salinas (OR-06) introduced in the House of Representatives, is to hasten quantum research and development in the United States. Salinas, a state representative from Oregon, stated that the Quantum Computing Innovation Center (QCIC), which was established and is currently led by Dr. Singh, was instrumental in propelling the quantum computing endeavor forward. Dr. Singh and his team would like to express their sincere gratitude to Congresswoman Salinas for her introduction of the QISE measure and for acknowledging the endeavors of the QCIC at Oregon Tech.
