About Us

We started our program in 2020 and have a record of 20-2. Queen City represents our community. Springfield, MO is considered the “Queen” of Missouri with Kansas City and St. Louis being the King metropolitan areas. Insane Asylum kind of came randomly. We didn’t want to be too generic with another mascot so we came up with a wild color scheme of pink and light blue. Our philosophy is a bit of a different flavor than others and we are ok with that. Insane Asylum seemed to fit. We currently have about 17 guys on our current roster that have played at the D1 or D2 collegiate level. We are back to back NFA IDFL Champions and are currnetly playing in the MDFA looking to bring home another title!

Fun facts:

We have been featured on ESPN Sports Center’s Top 10 for the hit of the week (Credit: SHLDZ MEDIA)

We have successfully raised over $20,000 as a program for local charities and families in need in our community

We have a really incredible following of wonderful fans on our social media of a little over 10,000

We have a bible study of men that meet weekly to become better fathers, friends, husbands and men of God.

We are a family. Truthfully the greatest thing about this program is the friendships these men form through the game of football. They show up for one another, they celebrate one another, they love on each other’s kids and they believe in each other.
