What is melody?
A melody is a group of pitches that tells an idea or a thought. It may also be called the tune. These pitches of music make up a tune or a melody.
What is a pitch?
Pitch is a specific tone that we hear or sing from a song. It is the lowness and highness of tones we play on a musical instrument like piano or recorder.
Symbols that show specific pitches are called notes and these are written on the staff.
A staff is like a music house that has 5 lines and 4 spaces on it.
