QA Sisters Canada was created in October 2021 as a Canadian branch of a Russian QA Sisters community.

The goal of our community is to create a friendly atmosphere for women in testing to network, learn and have fun. Here you can ask professional questions, share joys and discuss testing in all its aspects - we believe that there are no stupid questions and that everyone deserves to get attention for their achievements and get support for their struggles.

No, at least not yet. As the community grows we might reevaluate this decision, but for now, the goal of QA Sisters Canada is to create a safe space for women, where they will be able to receive support and help each other, without needing to educate men about struggles that they face every day. If you want to support women in their careers in testing you can join some other communities for women in testing or in STEM that allow men (you can easily google them).

It's free, doesn't delete message history, and is more or less popular among STEM professionals. Creating the account there is easy, so don't be scared if you don't have one yet :)
