The book at-Tibyaan by al-Imaam an-Nawawee (may Allaah have mercy upon him) is one of the books that Allaah blessed each of us to have studied from during the early part of our undergraduate program at the Department of al-Kitaab was-Sunnah at Umm al-Qura University in Makkah. We later translated the book as part of our teaching materials for an English audience, and also added throughout the translation some brief comments drawn from the works of various scholars and teachers. We beseech Allaah to accept this as a righteous deed carried out sincerely for Him, and we implore Him to make it a source of continuous guidance and benefit.
