HP-ALM is a project management tool that is used to manage software development process. You can easily create projects, users, requirements, test cases, defects and generate reports for various stakeholders. You can also integrate HP-ALM with UFT and LoadRunner to manage automation testing too.

Manage projects through releases, cycles, milestones and scopes.
Adding requirements and set with cycles and test cases.

Audience and Requirements:

Anyone who is interested to know HP-ALM to manage software development.
No prior knowledge is needed but strong desire to learn.
Training Highlights:
You will learn and use the tool in same way as used in the Industry and work by IT professionals. Hands-on practice with tool.
Mentorship will be available throughout and after training.
You will practice on interview questions and sessions from day one.
You will be working on three projects.
Assessment:
Scenario 1: Show how to manage a project in HP-ALM using the following tasks:
Create “Tours” project and assign 2 testers, 4 developers and 1 lead to work on it.
Create first release “Tours-1.0.1 and add two cycles named “Home page development” and “Login page development” under it.
Create requirements tree equivalent to each cycle and add test cases for each.
Add test cases for each requirement, execute them and generate possible defects. Do not forget to link entities.
Generate reports for your progress.
Scenario 2: Export and import test cases from excel file.
Scenario 3: Link your UFT script with HP-ALM.
Scenario 4: Generate traceability matrix report to see test to requirement coverage.
