二、 課程理念:
1.採用溝通式教學法,以「溝通功能」及「主題」為主軸,內容選取學生生活中熟悉的情境,目的在於引導學生能將所學應用於生活中,培養學生簡易的英語聽、說、讀、寫能力,並促進學生對中外文化習俗的認識。
2. 教學內容以富想像力的圖畫風格,吸引學生主動了解學習內容,並配合故事聽讀、會話對談、歌謠韻文吟唱,發展學生聽讀能力和技巧。
3. 教材以生活化、活用化、實用化及多樣化為原則。
三、 先備經驗或知識簡述:
旨在融合溝通式教學、全語言教學觀、多元智能理論及跨文化理解內涵,配合國家政策發展、社會重大議題及各項溝通功能主題,選取國小學童生活中熟悉的題材與情境為學習的內容,以培養學生英語聽、說、讀、寫溝通能力、學習英語的積極態度及促進其對中外文化習俗之認識為原則。
四、 課程目標:
1. 能將各課的主題故事,如:生活作息、食物、國家與物品等,運用在生活對話中。
2. 能認讀並使用相關各課主題之字彙。
3. 能聽懂各課英文字彙及句型,並做出相關的對應。
4. 能寫出各課相關之字彙和句子。
4. 能聽懂並應用各課的俚語。
5. 能閱讀並了解短文內容大意。
6. 能聽辨、認讀各課之字音及其字母拼讀單字。

Adopting a communicative teaching approach, centered around "communicative functions" and "themes," selecting content familiar to students' daily lives. The goal is to guide students to apply what they have learned in real life, fostering basic English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, and promoting an understanding of both local and foreign cultures and customs.
The teaching content uses imaginative illustrations to attract students' interest in learning, complemented by story listening and reading, conversational dialogues, and rhymes and chants, to develop students' listening and reading skills and techniques.
The teaching materials adhere to principles of being practical, applicable, and diverse.
The aim is to integrate communicative teaching, whole language learning perspectives, multiple intelligences theory, and cross-cultural understanding. In line with national policy development, major social issues, and various communicative function themes, the curriculum selects familiar topics and scenarios from the daily lives of elementary school students. The principles are to cultivate students' abilities in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing communication, foster a positive attitude towards learning English, and promote an understanding of both local and foreign cultures and customs.
