Privacy Policy for PyCore

Effective Date: June 23, 2026

1. Information Collection

PyCore ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information. All code, files, and scripts created or executed within the app remain entirely on your device.

2. Local Processing

All Python code execution and file management occur locally on your device using the embedded CPython engine. PyCore does not transmit your personal data, source code, or project files to any external servers.

3. Network Access

PyCore requires network permissions solely for standard IDE functionalities requested by the user, such as downloading and installing Python packages from public repositories (e.g., PyPI via pip) or accessing external APIs from within your own Python scripts. We do not use network access to track you or collect telemetry.

4. App Permissions

PyCore may request storage permissions to read and write files within your workspace. This is required for the file explorer and code editor to function properly. No files are accessed outside of the directories you explicitly interact with.

5. Third-Party Services

We do not integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs that track user behavior.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the new Privacy Policy on this page.
