Physics 597004, Special Topic: Quantum Information, Fall 2019, 2020

This course contains basic ideas of quantum information. We will start with an introduction of qubits and controlls of quantum states, following with the concepts of quantum entanglement, quantum error correction, and quantum computation. We will futher discuss some new directions of connecting quantum information to other fields, such as many-body topological phases phases and the emergence of geometry.
