Adeem was born and raised in Kfar Qara village in Palestine.
Adeem holds a Ph.D. in social work (DSW) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MSW (with specialization in child and family studies) and BSW in social work from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
In 2019 she joined the Center of Evidence-Based Intervention at the University of Oxford (Department of Social Policy and Intervention) as a post-doctoral research fellow.
Her research focus is on violence and anti-social behaviors among children and adolescents. Besides, she is interested in promotive factors for parental resilience among vulnerable populations in adversity.
