I'm noticing the PXN V900 pedals not working (Accelarator and Brake pedals)(if we put the steering wheel to D-Mode instead of X-mode)(by pressing Mode button for 3 sec on the steering wheel) as it should after open up Steam on my PC. The Steam mess up the PXN V900 pedals by assigning it to buttons instead of Axis.
So, after doing some research and experiment, I'm come up with this solutions. Hope this will help you. :)
Install PXN V900 driver from official site
(https://www.e-pxn.com/sites/pxn/files/product/driver/pxn-v900_0.zip)
Extract the ZIP file by right-click it,
Then choose "Extract to 'pxn_v900_0\"
Double-click the EXE file (PXN-V900.exe) from the pxn_v900_0 folder to begin the installation.
Install HidHide from this link (https://github.com/ViGEm/HidHide/releases/download/v1.2.128.0/HidHide_1.2.128_x64.exe)
Open the HidHide application then it will show like this
Click the plus button (+) on the bottom right of the application, then search for .exe Steam game. Not the steam.exe.
Like in my case, I want to play Assetta Corsa. "E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\AssettoCorsa.exe"
Usually the Steam games installed in C drive but in my case it was in E drive instead of C.
You can locate the game's file location by opening Steam and go to Library and right-click your game and go to Manage then go to Browse local files.
It will open the game folder. In the folder, search for your game .exe like Assetto Corsa the .exe name will be "AssettoCorsa.exe"
Now in HidHide it will listed the file path in the Applications tab.
This will whitelist the game from being cloak or hidden.
Go to Devices tab then it will list the connected controller or our PXN V900 as Wired Wheel or Controller Wheel as shown in Pic 1
Now, tick the box beside the Wired Wheel and it will show red lock as shown in Pic 2.
And don't forget to tick Enable Device hiding at the bottom Left before opening Steam.
After the Steam opened, Go back to HidHide to untick Enable Device Hiding.
Finally, we can play our favorite games from Steam without the Steam interrupted our PXN V900.
