The Pinewood Parent Teacher Organization encourages parents/guardians to become actively involved in their children's education.

To provide an opportunity for parents/guardians, teachers/staff and children to work together to provide a safe and caring environment conducive to learning.
To raise funds that are made available to the teachers/staff in order to enrich our children's education.
To provide recognition to teachers/staff and volunteers for their efforts in educating our children.

When and where are meetings held?

Regular meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month in the Pinewood Elementary teachers lounge September thru May, however, we skip the months of December & March.

Who can attend meetings?

Any Parent/Guardian who has a student(s) attending Pinewood Elementary School.

Any member of the Monticello School Board.

Any staff member of Pinewood Elementary School.

How can I volunteer?

You can attend any of our meetings or reach out via email. The school district requires all volunteers to complete a background check before they volunteer.
