SAN SEBASTIÁN DEL OESTE
San Sebastián is a town in the mountains that, due to its wealth in gold and silver, attracted the Spanish conquerors; and in 1525, Francisco Cortés de San Buenaventura (Hernán Cortés's nephew) conquered the place.
In 1542, the rise of the place begins since the exploitation of the mines begins, thus becoming one of the main mining centers of the New Spain.
