A Vote for Patrick is a Vote for Our Community

Thank You to the League of Women Voters!

A big thank you to the League of Women Voters for hosting such a meaningful forum, and to Wes for moderating the discussion. I also want to thank my opponent for engaging in a thoughtful and respectful conversation.

I’m incredibly proud of how the evening went, especially as I shared my vision for a Community Engagement Commission. It was clear that my message of listening to all community members resonated. I believe this is key to building a stronger Fridley where everyone has a voice.

Let’s keep this conversation going as we work toward a better future for Fridley. Your voice matters, and together, we can make real change!

If you missed the forum, you can watch it here.

Let’s be honest, we are all tired of politics and politicians. We’re frustrated with the division that career politicians create in our communities across the country. We are ALL yearning for something fresh, honest, and trustworthy. I never thought I’d ever run for office but after being asked by a friend and neighbor, I realized that if people like me don’t step up, who will? Average people who make a habit of helping neighbors and supporting local causes are what we need right now. That’s who I am and why I am running.

I care about Fridley. I care about my neighbors. I care about my family. I’m running to represent all of Fridley because I want everyone invested in our community and involved in building the strongest community possible.

It’s time for a fresh new vision for Fridley. We’re a strong community, and a changing one. As we grow and young families move here, it’s vital that our leadership grows and changes as well. As a lifelong community resident, I’ve seen decisions made and community member’s voices dismissed. I don’t work this way.

We can value the voices that have built our community while welcoming in a new generation of Fridley residents.

We can move Fridley forward in a way that allows us to work collaboratively, rather than at odds with one another.

This is why I am asking for your vote.
