Privacy Policy for PushUP
Effective Date: 31/05/2026
1. Introduction
PushUP ("we," "our," or "us") provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we handle information in our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy while providing a functional and free experience.

Display Over Other Apps
(SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW) : Used to display the blocker overlay on top of distracting apps. We do not record your screen or capture content from other applications.
Camera: Used by the workout screen to count repetitions using on-device pose detection (Google ML Kit). Camera frames are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded, stored, or transmitted off the device by us. ecord your screen or capture content from other applications.
Usage Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS) and Query All Packages (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES):
Used by the App Blocker feature to display the list of apps installed on your device so you can choose which apps to block, and to read foreground time so the blocker can act on the apps you select. This list is processed on-device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Notifications: Used to remind you about your workout schedule.
(RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED)
The app is designed as a productivity and habit-building tool. To ensure the user's screen time limits are consistently managed, the monitoring service must resume automatically after a device restart. This prevents the user from bypassing their health goals by simply rebooting the device
3. Data Collected by Third-Party Services
To keep the app free we rely on third-party services. These services may collect and process information independently of us, in accordance with their own privacy policies.
A. Advertising (Google AdMob and mediation partners)
We display advertising via Google AdMob with mediation. Our active mediation partners are:
Google AdMob
Meta Audience Network (Facebook)
Vungle (Liftoff)
InMobi
Mintegral
Pangle (ByteDance / TikTok)
Moloco
Digital Turbine (Fyber)
These advertising partners may collect and process:
Advertising ID (e.g., Android Advertising ID)
Device information (model, OS version, screen size, language, mobile country code, network type)
Approximate location derived from IP address or device settings
App activity including ad interactions and ad performance signals
Apps on device (installed apps list) — some advertising partners (notably Digital Turbine, Pangle, Mintegral, Moloco, and InMobi) read and transmit the list of apps installed on your device for ad targeting, fraud prevention, and bidding purposes
Diagnostics including crash logs and performance data
Where required by law (e.g., GDPR, ePrivacy in the EEA/UK), we present a consent dialog via Google's User Messaging Platform before any non-essential data is shared.
B. Analytics and Stability (Google Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics)
We use Firebase to understand usage patterns and diagnose crashes. Firebase may collect:
App usage events (screens viewed, features used, session duration)
Crash and diagnostic logs
Approximate (city/country) location derived from IP
Device and app identifiers
C. Payments (Google Play Billing)
In-app purchases (e.g., lifetime upgrade) are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store payment information; Google Play handles all transaction data.
4. Data We Collect Directly
We do not collect or store personal data on our own servers. Workout history, settings, and selected blocked apps are stored locally on your device.
5. Your Choices and Controls
