Pushpesh Ranjan, born in Sathi village, district West Champaran (Bihar). He completed his B. Sc. (Chemistry Honours) from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur (Bihar) in 2013. He earned his M. Sc. in Chemistry from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Sagar (MP) in 2017. In March 2024, he graduated with a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences from CSIR–Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (AMPRI), Bhopal under the guidance of Dr. Raju Khan (Senior Principal Scientist). He has gained extensive expertise in electrochemical biosensors for point-of-care diagnosis of cancer biomarkers, and infectious disease. He also worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the CSIR-AMPRI and his research focused on the design and development of efficient non-noble metal-based electrocatalysts for water oxidation reaction (OER/HER), ammonia synthesis, and carbon dioxide reduction into value-added compounds. Currently, he is working as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar and his research focuses on the design and development of electrochemical bio(sensor) for the detection of cancer biomarkers, heavy metals, pesticides, and infectious disease.
