Yuwen and Rahul have known each other for over 17 years, sharing a belief in a different kind of leadership—one that is compassionate, people-centric, and, most importantly, authentic. Their shared commitment to addressing the critical issue of burnout, which is one of the biggest contributors to inauthentic leadership behaviors, led them to the creation of the Purposeful Leadership Program.
During their time as colleagues at a large biotech firm, they co-designed and facilitated a program that inspired leaders to embark on an introspective journey, uncovering deep-seated triggers and underlying fears. Drawing from their personal experiences, business and coaching expertise, and established behavioral science principles, they developed frameworks to help leaders discover a new way of leading —rooted in self-belief, trust, and a purpose that transcends professional roles, embracing the leader’s deeper True Self.
The success and impact of this program inspired Yuwen and Rahul to launch Project True Self—an initiative dedicated to reducing suffering and amplifying love, compassion, and kindness through a new approach to leadership. Purposeful Leadership, a core component of this initiative, is designed to help burnt out leaders take their first steps toward uncovering their True Self.
Yuwen and Rahul believe this uncovering process is an ongoing journey toward choice and freedom. They are excited to support those committed to living authentically, aligned with their values, and expressing their fullest potential.
