 Absorption chiller purging pump serves a similar function to a chiller purging pump, but it is specifically designed for use in absorption chiller systems. Absorption chillers use a refrigerant-absorbent pair, typically water and lithium bromide, to produce chilled water.

 Like other types of chillers, absorption chillers can accumulate air and other non-condensable gases, which can reduce the system's efficiency and cause problems with operation. A purging pump is used to remove these gases from the system.

 The purging pump for an absorption chiller works by circulating the refrigerant-absorbent mixture through a purging vessel or tank. This vessel is designed to trap any air or other non-condensable gases present in the system, allowing only the refrigerant-absorbent mixture to return to the chiller. The purging process is repeated until all of the non-condensable gases have been removed from the system.

 Proper maintenance of the purging pump is essential to the reliable operation of an absorption chiller. Regular inspection and replacement of the pump's components, such as seals and valves, can help prevent problems and ensure the system operates at peak efficiency.
