Registration for the 2027 Purdue Invitational is now open!

Registration Fee

It will cost $100 to register each team you bring. Information on how to send payment will be emailed to the coach after their team(s) is/are registered. Please allow us 48 hours to send confirmation of your registration.

Free or Reduced Registration

Purdue University Science Olympiad believes that Science Olympiad is for everyone, and that access to opportunities to compete at high-quality tournaments on college campuses should not be limited by a team's ability to pay a registration fee.

To this end, if our $100 registration fee would prevent your team from participating in our tournament, please fill out the seperate application that can be accessed through the normal registration form. Our team will follow up with you regarding your request and any next steps.

Financial assistance is intended for teams facing significant financial barriers to participation due to the registration fee. Requests will be considered individually based on financial need and available funding. Depending on available resources, we may offer full or partial registration fee waivers.

Registration Timeline

Registration will close on December 1, 2026 at 5pm ET. If registration payment, or proof that payment is on its way, is not received by December 15, your team(s) may be moved to the end of the waitlist.

We will provide a finalized list of participating teams by January 10, 2027.

Waitlist

• If the cap of 30 teams in a division is reached before registration closes, a waitlist will be formed. 

• If a coach fills out the registration form and the division they have registered for is full, we will notify the coach that they have been placed on the waitlist within 48 hours of registering.

• If a spot opens up, we will notify the coach that a spot is available and they have up to 72 hours to accept the spot before we offer it to the next team on the waitlist. 

• We will fill openings with teams on the waitlist up to January 9, 2027.
