Mission Statement:
The purpose of this organization is to provide the means for our members to gain exposure in the field of operations and supply chain management while effectively networking with companies to cultivate career opportunities for the future.
We are a club that helps our members thrive in the field of Operations and Supply Chain. Events like information sessions and plant tours, give our members insight on the day-to-day functions of an operations manager.
In the Spring of 2017 we held our OSCO Annual Conference! We featured three Fortune 500 Companies: Amazon, PepsiCo and General Electric. The event was exclusively for the Operations and Supply Chain Organization members so that they could meet one-on-one with top recruiters to gain internships and full-time positions.
A special thanks to Amazon, PepsiCo and General Electric for making this the BEST conference yet! These three companies went to extremely lengths to make their presentations extremely interactive and fun for everyone that participated.
Amazon is a company that has shown continuous support with the Operations and Supply Chain Organization. Every year we have a plant tour at their Fulfillment Center in Indianapolis. This year we had a great turn out and we learned how how keeps up with rapid demand and the changes they are making to stay on top!
Although plan tours are one of the events that OSCO has that is fun for every member to participate in. Plant tours are also looked at as a Social Event. After we are done touring the facility we go somewhere to eat as a group and become more acquainted with one another.
