Crew 305, Valles, alludes to the exploration of Mars’ largest canyon, Valles Marineris. The patch has imagery for every mission research objective and also depicts a canyon to represent the crew’s namesake. In the back, you see a volcano to commemorate our sister crew, 306 - Montes, named after the large volcanoes on Mars.

Crew 306, Montes, alludes to the exploration of Mars’ largest peaks, Olympus Mons et al. The patch has imagery for our drone research experiment that shall map the different topographical levels of the terrain, and also depicts mount Olympus to represent the crew’s namesake.
