To prepare members for recruitment season, we host a series of targeted professional development workshops covering resumes, interview skills, and professional etiquette. We also partner with faculty and industry recruiters to conduct mock interviews. Throughout the rest of the year, we also host a variety of industry learning sessions. These initiatives ensure our students are uniquely equipped to navigate recruitment, while learning about various career paths within the actuarial industry.

The Purdue Actuarial Club’s Mentor-Mentee Program is designed to foster community and support among our members by pairing upperclassmen with underclassmen. Our structured group sessions always feature food, games, and a professional learning session. Beyond these organized events, mentors and mentees frequently connect independently for study sessions, casual get-togethers, and peer-to-peer guidance. Through this program, students are provided with a reliable academic and social foundation as they navigate their early years as an actuarial student.

Beyond the classroom and corporate networking, we host a variety of social events throughout the year to help members unwind and connect. From bowling nights and outdoor picnics to competitive game nights, these gatherings are a great opportunity to meet like-minded peers and build your professional network. We believe that a strong, supportive community is just as essential to your success as academic preparation.

In 2025, we hosted our inaugural spring banquet to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our members. This program honors our graduating seniors, recognizes outstanding award and scholarship recipients, and features remarks from distinguished Purdue alumni. It is a memorable evening dedicated to celebrating our community's success and giving our seniors a proper send-off into their next professional chapter.
