Game Watches

The seven basketball game watches this winter have been well attended. Typically, if Purdue is playing on a Saturday or Sunday, we’ll meet at Johnny’s Tavern. About once for each football and basketball season, we’ll meet somewhere else. Please, check the Facebook page or group emails for the exact location. Everyone is welcome.

Where:

Johnny’s Tavern

6765 W 119th St, Overland Park KS

Purdue Men’s Basketball has been ranked all season and we’re moving in March and tournament time. Depending on where and when Purdue plays, there will be game watches for the Big Ten Tournament and the NCAA Tournament.

Purdue in the NCAA Regionals

The Purdue Alumni Association hosted a pre-game tailgate at the NCAA Regionals here in Kansas City on March 23rd. The event was at McFadden's Sports Saloon right across the street from the Sprint Center. There were about 100 alumni from Kansas City and those who traveled in to see the game.

Harvesters Volunteer Event

The local club does and annual volunteer event at Harvesters. We help sort and box up food for needy families in NW Missouri and NE Kansas. Harvesters couldn’t happen without volunteers like us. It’s a good way to spend a Saturday,
