Good news! We are happy to provide guidance on insurance reimbursement options and are happy to say that over twenty insurance companies have begun reimbursement for doula birth and postpartum services.  Pura Vida Eastern Wellness is here to help you take the right steps towards receiving reimbursement.

Not only does insurance provide reimbursement for doula services, but those with Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA) through their employer can request reimbursement from the company's claim department.  Please also reach out to your tax professionals to find out more information regarding tax deductions for healthcare related expenses, such as placenta encapsulation.
