JOHN PATRICK B. STA. MARIA
I work as an Associate Professor of Mathematics in the Polytechnic University of the Philippines - Manila. I have been teaching various mathematics and statistics courses for at least 17 years as of this writing.
Calculus was never my favorite subject as a student. It doesn't mean that I don't understand it, though. My love for the subject grew over time as I continue to study mathematics. I have seen calculus as a dynamic subject which has a wide range of applications in the fields of science, engineering, statistics, data and information science, medicine, etc.
Aside from doing mathematics, I love to cook good food, to eat, and to travel to places I've never set a foot on before. I'm easily irritated by unnecessary noise, but I am a good listener. As a teacher, I appreciate students who are hard working, honest and punctual.
I also love learning languages. Aside from English and Filipino, I can converse with ease in Chinese and Korean. I know a little of Japanese, Thai, Arabic, German, French and Italian too.
I am single, never married, and available for meetups and dates. Just in case may mga kuya kayo na single, beke nemen. Charis!
