KOOP.WORKS

Koop.Works is the official student publication of the Department of Cooperatives and Social Development. Together with other DCSD academic organizations, it aims to cultivate its members’ writing and journalism skills, in utilization to deliver just, relevant, and fair news especially to the DCSD community - molding them to be the Department’s Coop Journalist Leaders. The Editorial Board and Staff, alongside its Editorial Consultants are committed into “Promoting Cooperativism through outstanding journalism.”

OBJECTIVES

To provide accurate and relevant information regarding the programs, services and events of the Department of Cooperatives and Social Development, the College, the University and the Cooperative Sector.
To impart knowledge on relevant local and national issues.
To promote versatility and creativity of the DCSD students, particularly with their writing and/or journalism skills and abilities.
To cover and document events and/or occasions taking place within the
department.
To uphold camaraderie among its members as well as with the other
organizations.
To advocate servant leadership and be a role model to fellow student
organizations.
To participate in the academic and related activities inside and outside the
University.
