Message from the Director

As stated by Kathy Roberts, an American Journalism Historian, accreditation recognizes a museum's commitment to excellence and the high professional standards of operation. This excellence is achieved through an ongoing process of learning and improvement. Improvement is a never-ending process as accreditation seeks judgment in evaluating activities for the betterment of the education as it greatly achieves its objectives for the quality impact in the path to professionalism. To ensure that we provide the best quality of service and education, presently, accreditation in PUP system is being observed. The PUP Bansud Oriental Mindoro Campus voluntarily submit its program, Bachelor of Public Administration, amidst this pandemic situation and the challenges in the process of accreditation. The unity among PUP Bansud Campus is aiming to bring about directives to assure the clienteles on the continuity of the improvement in quality education in each program.

I would like to extend my humble gratitude to the leadership of Dr. Manuel M. Muhi, our University President, Prof. Pascualito B. Gatan, the Vice-President for Campuses, and most especially to the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Inc., together with Quality Assurance Center (QAC) for the unending support to the whole family of PUP. Together with the students, faculty members, employees of this Campus, and on behalf of the officials of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, we are honored and privileged that the seasoned accreditors, educational leaders will give their time to not just visit but become the witness of the continuous enhancement of quality education in equipping the future professionals of this generation. BACHELOR OF PUBLIC ADMINSTRATION

The “Bachelor of Public Administration” (BPA) program aims to develop public servants, leaders, and change agents with the required competencies, 21st-century skills, and values to serve as professionals in government, civil society, and international organizations. The BPA program prepares its graduates for technical and administrative positions in government, including foreign service and civil society. It is also good preparation for those interested in taking law and graduate studies. Graduates of the program can start their careers as technical assistants, researchers, and mid-managers which can progress as future public executives and decision-makers.Public Administration is an allied field of management and the social sciences.
