ExtenderX (“ExtenderX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides AI-powered photo expansion, uncropping, reframing, outpainting, and resizing features within the mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the app, what data may be transmitted, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

ExtenderX is designed to help users expand photos into new frame sizes using AI. This may include extending image backgrounds, uncropping tight shots, reframing compositions, resizing photos, and generating additional visual content beyond the original image borders.
To provide these features, certain information that you voluntarily submit through the app may need to be processed securely.
ExtenderX does not require users to create an account for core functionality unless otherwise stated inside the app.
When you use ExtenderX, we may process information you actively provide through the app. This may include:

Limited technical and operational data required to maintain app performance, security, and reliability
We only process information necessary to operate the app’s features.
Collection: We may process face data only when you voluntarily upload a photo that contains a person’s face. “Face data” refers to facial features visible in the uploaded image that are necessary for the AI to preserve the appearance and structure of the original photo during expansion or reframing. We do not use facial recognition, identify who you are, or create biometric identity profiles.
Usage: Face data is used solely to process your request and generate the expanded or reframed image you asked for. It is never used for advertising, profiling, identity matching, or any unrelated purpose.
Retention: Your uploaded photo, including any visible face data, is stored only for the time required to process the request. After processing, the uploaded source image may be automatically deleted from our systems. In limited cases, temporary encrypted cache or backup systems may retain processing data for a short period for reliability, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or failed-job recovery, after which it is automatically removed.
Generated outputs may be temporarily stored on secure servers until they are delivered to you or downloaded by you. If not retained in app history, these files may be automatically deleted after a limited period.
Third-Party Sharing: When you use AI expansion or image generation features, your uploaded photo, which may contain face data, may be securely transmitted to trusted third-party AI processing providers that perform the requested expansion, outpainting, reframing, or resizing.
Why We Share It: We share this data only because these providers supply the AI infrastructure required to generate your requested output.
When you use AI-powered features, ExtenderX may securely transmit the following data:
Images selected or uploaded by you
Relevant generation settings, such as target ratio, size, or expansion preferences
Limited technical metadata required for processing requests
This information is sent only when needed to complete your requested AI action.
To power AI photo expansion and related transformations, ExtenderX may securely send required data through encrypted infrastructure to trusted third-party AI service providers.
These providers may include services that perform image generation, outpainting, expansion, reframing, or enhancement on our behalf.
We only share the minimum information required to generate your requested result.
We process data only for limited purposes, including:
Expanding photos into larger or different frame sizes
Uncropping and reframing uploaded images
Generating additional visual content around the original image
Returning generated results to the user

Users initiate AI processing by voluntarily:

Tapping the action button to start generation
This action serves as user intent to process the submitted content.
Users remain in control of what content they choose to submit.
Depending on how ExtenderX is configured, generated content may be:
Stored locally on your device
Temporarily stored on secure servers for processing and delivery
Saved in in-app history so you can revisit previous creations
Temporary server storage may be used to complete generation requests, queue jobs, or deliver results efficiently.
If you delete content from the app, local history may be removed from your device, subject to platform behavior.
ExtenderX may store certain data locally on your device, such as:
Generated image history
App preferences
Cached thumbnails or previews
You may manage local data by:
Deleting individual creations
Clearing app history, if available
Deleting the app from your device
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect data during storage, transmission, and handling, including encrypted communication where appropriate.
However, no system can guarantee absolute security. Users should avoid uploading highly sensitive personal or confidential content.
