SLSU MCC marked this year's Valentine's Day with a lively celebration themed "Hugyaw sa Gugma: Pagsaulog sa Kasingkasing ug Panaghiusa," an event filled with love, laughter, and community spirit. The day began with an array of exciting booths, including the Freedom Wall for heartfelt messages, Love Radio to play romantic tunes and confessions, and Mail Love Letters organized by the SSC. The CPAS organization added a unique touch with their playful "Dating Booth" and the JSWAP handmade flower shop booth, offering personalized gifts for the occasion.
As the afternoon unfolded, the SSC took charge of a delightful program, beginning with a warm welcome from Admin Officer V, Ms. Madonna Grace Jacobe. The first highlight of the event was the hilarious "Bakit? Kasi" segment, where students showcased their funniest punchlines, creating waves of laughter across the venue.
The mood turned even more romantic as Mr. Alwin Bonador, John Rhobel Galleon, and Levi Bernados serenaded the crowd with sweet songs. During this enchanting serenade, the SSC surprised the audience by pairing up single attendees for a charming dance in the center of the venue, spreading love and joy in the air.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt closing remark by Dr. Jonathan Palco, Head of REIS, who reminded everyone of the importance of unity and love. The event was a true testament to the spirit of togetherness, and it left everyone feeling a little warmer in their hearts.
