January 13, 2025, marked the beginning of a new chapter as the second semester officially commenced. The day began with a flag ceremony attended by faculty, staff, and students, setting a positive tone for the start of the semester. Following the ceremony, the unveiling of the SLSU-Maasin City Campus Marker took place, spearheaded by Campus Director Mr. Frederick C. Aniga, along with key campus officials. In his inspirational message, Mr. Aniga emphasized that the marker symbolizes not only aesthetics but also a sense of belonging and pride within the University. He encouraged everyone to actively contribute to the University's mission by upholding its quality and standards. Additionally, Mr. Aniga shared the exciting news of the arrival of a newly purchased vehicular van for the campus, which will be used for various campus appointments, benefiting faculty, staff, and students alike.
