The seminar on Labor Market Information, held on January 20, 2025 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM was a resounding success, effectively engaging resource speakers, OJT coordinator and OJT students alike.  The event commenced with an opening prayer, setting a respectful and focused tone for the proceedings.  Following the invocation, a fellow OJT student delivered welcoming remarks, extending a warm greeting to the resource speaker and participants.

The main session then began with the resource speaker's engaging presentation on Labor Market Information.  He started by introducing himself, creating a personal connection with the audience before launching into his insightful talk.  A key focus was on how to choose a career wisely, emphasizing the alignment of career paths with knowledge, interests, and skills. He underscored the crucial role of Labor Market Information in this process, explaining how understanding current job trends, salary expectations, and industry demands allows for informed decision-making.  He illustrated this with compelling personal anecdotes, including his own journey to becoming a psychology student and applying to ten call center companies before finding his true calling. His experiences powerfully demonstrated the importance of perseverance and self-discovery, and the value of using Labor Market Information to guide career choices. He further stressed the need to choose a career offering a promising future, urging students not to settle for less and to recognize their own worth and value in the job market.  The discussion that followed was lively and interactive, highlighting the significance of the information shared and its direct relevance to the students' future career planning.  The resource speaker's emphasis on the practical application of Labor Market Information ensured the session was not merely theoretical but highly relevant and actionable for the OJT students.

After the presentation, the hosts called upon our OJT coordinator, Ma'am SALVACION Teng to present the resource speaker with a certificate of appreciation and a token of gratitude.  The formal presentation of the certificate preceded the gift, adding a touch of formality to the gesture.

A fellow OJT student then delivered closing remarks, summarizing the key takeaways from the seminar and expressing gratitude to all involved.  Finally, the hosts facilitated a photo opportunity, allowing each section of students to take memorable pictures with the resource speaker and OJT advisors.
