Southern Leyte State University-Maasin City Campus (SLSU-MCC) students gathered on January 17 at SLSU-MCC Quadrangle as the Supreme Student Council (SSC) discussed their accomplishment and financial statement during the past activity in the last semester.
One of the accomplishments that brings pride to the SSC is the success of the National Students' Day Celebration. The event mainstreamed the wits and talents of the Mighty Kingfishers of SLSU-MCC, which were manifested through different competitions and events throughout that day. Some student leaders were given the Most Outstanding Student Award for their great efforts in serving as members of the student body while juggling their studies and academics.
The assembly started around 2:00 PM and ended around 3:45 PM with the students attending the assembly from the Public Administration Department and Social Work Department.
