SLSU-MCC Holds 1st General Students’ Assembly
Southern Leyte State University – Maasin City Campus (SLSU-MCC) successfully held its 1st General Students’ Assembly on September 10, 2025, at 8:00 AM at the campus quadrangle. SSC President, together with the officers, presented the revised Constitution and By-Laws and highlighted the rights of students. The new set of SSC officers was formally introduced to the student body, marking the beginning of a new term of leadership.
SSC Adviser Aris Rex Espinas delivered the welcome remarks, calling the assembly a “great opportunity to hear your voice” and addressing student concerns regarding previous activities. Upcoming events and activities were also presented, giving students a preview of what to expect for the semester. The assembly concluded with an open forum, allowing students to express their suggestions and concerns. The event strengthened transparency, encouraged student participation, and set a positive tone for the school year 2025-2026.
