The "switching them positions for you" era of Ariana has finally performed its final act since the album's release back in 2021. Rain on me no more because here comes the sun! the much-awaited 7th studio album (AG7) of pop star icon, Ariana Grande has finally graced all music streaming platforms. Fans have been looking forward to AG7 amid the leakage of one of her songs "Fantasize" on the video-sharing streaming platform, TikTok. In an interview on the Zack Sang Show, Grande expressed how devastated she was by "Fantasize" getting leaked all over TikTok, Grande added that the song was written intended for another artist.
It's no surprise that the Grammy winner would always be a trendsetter, the album's lead single, "Yes, and?" produced by powerhouse music producer, Max Martin, landed the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 marking Grande's sixth song to do so. It's not the first time Grande and Martin collaborated in making music, they have already collaborated with hit songs like One Last Time back in 2015, Side to Side in 2016, and No Tears Left to Cry in 2018. Despite efforts in promoting "yes, and?" on TikTok, it all ended down the drain when Universal Music Group (UMG) pulled out all copyrights of their songs on the said platform. Which resulted in millions of TikTok videos going mute and soundless. Promotion for Grande's lead single and upcoming album still transcends to other social media platforms from Meta and Google.
D-day came with Eternal Sunshine raying its beaming light in the music scene, Grande went deeper with her career-long exploration of genres like pop, contemporary pop and R&B. AG7 highlights music with self-penned lyrics reflecting the Grammy winner's real-life story and journey in unlocking personal growth not just as an artist but as a person. Grande has been through a lot of predicaments in her life already, from Grammy not allowing her to perform the song of her choice, to the terrorist bombing attack during her Dangerous Woman World Tour Concert in Manchester. Despite it all, Grande's ambition and aspiration to create music that speaks through her heart is unstoppable. Eternal Sunshine is Grande's most bare album she has ever worked with on a musical release since her 2019 album, "Thank U, Next." The thirteen music tracks from the album are crafted in collaboration with different talented and flamboyant music producers like Max Martin, Ilya, Shintaro Yasuda, Nick Lee, Peter Kahm, Oscar Görres, and David Park.
