The Punjab Urban Land Systems Enhancement (PULSE) Project — a collaboration between the Government of Punjab and the World Bank — aims to build a transparent, accurate, and digital property database across the province.
Our project covers two key segments:
Urban Areas: Planned and regulated settlements.
Katchi Abadis: Informal or irregular settlements requiring special strategies.
Through field surveys and mobile-based data collection, we’re enabling better governance, tax reforms, and sustainable urban planning across Punjab.

The Urban part of the PULSE Project focuses on cities and towns that are planned and have proper maps.
Our Steps:
Visit every property and collect data with a mobile app
Upload the data directly to the system
Work with local offices to confirm records
Tag every property with GPS for maps
Verify ownership and property use
Earnings:
💰 Field staff can earn PKR 35,000–50,000 per month, based on how much and how accurately they work.
Goal:
To make sure every property in cities is correctly mapped and verified.
Katchi Abadis are informal areas with mixed or irregular layouts.
These need more time, effort, and care to collect correct information.
Our Steps:
Work closely with local people to identify every house
Use flexible methods for unplanned layouts
Check each form carefully to avoid mistakes
Work with government and community teams
Train surveyors to handle difficult situations politely
Earnings:
💰 Surveyors working in Katchi Abadis get double pay per form because the work is harder.
Goal:
To include Katchi Abadis in Punjab’s digital system for fair services and recognition.
Before starting work, every field member attends a training session to learn:
How to collect data properly
How to use the mobile app
How to talk to people respectfully
How to verify and double-check information
How to handle challenges in Urban and Katchi Abadi areas
⚠️ Accuracy and honesty are very important.
Repeated mistakes may lead to removal from the project.
Use a mobile app to collect property details
Add GPS location and upload data in real time
System automatically checks for errors
Supervisors review and confirm data regularly
All data is stored safely and kept private
🔒 Your data is protected under Punjab’s Digital Governance Policy.
The success of PULSE relies on teamwork, professionalism, and integrity.
Each team member represents the commitment of the Punjab Government, World Bank, and SDPI to improve land governance in Punjab.
“Your honesty and accuracy are the real strength of this project.”
