Every campaign starts with goals, but SMART objectives turn them into measurable checkpoints. For PulsePoint, these included hitting 50 sessions with ≥60% mobile traffic, securing Instagram’s engagement rate above 50%, and recording at least one outbound click.
Figure 3 (A3) below reveals how users progressed or dropped off through the funnel. Traffic flowed in strongly, yet the chart shows a steep decline before outbound clicks.
This teaches us that SMART objectives aren’t just pass/fail they’re feedback loops. PulsePoint achieved mobile and Instagram goals but underperformed on outbound conversions. The funnel visual helps us see exactly where to refine messaging and why engagement needs to be nurtured before asking for clicks.
