pp: PulseFlow – Heart Rate Monitor | Package: com.heartrate.monitor | Last updated: May 2025
Summary: PulseFlow does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data outside your device. All measurements stay on your phone.
PulseFlow is developed and published as an independent application. For privacy questions, contact us at: omer.osama@gmail.com
PulseFlow collects no personal data. Specifically:
Camera – The rear camera is used solely to capture a 40-second video for heart rate analysis. No video is saved, recorded, uploaded, or shared. All pixel processing happens in real time on your device and the raw video data is immediately discarded after analysis.
Heart rate measurements – BPM readings and timestamps are stored only on your device in a local database (SQLite via Android Room). This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it via the "Export to CSV" feature.
No analytics – We do not use any third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs.
No advertising data – The current version contains no advertising. Future versions may include contextual ads; this policy will be updated before any such release.
CAMERA – Required to capture the light signal from the finger placed on the lens. Used only during an active measurement session.
INTERNET – Declared for future cloud features. Not actively used in the current version. No network requests are made.
All measurement history is stored in an encrypted SQLite database on your device using Android's standard storage APIs. We have no ability to access this data. If you uninstall the app, all data is permanently deleted.
We do not share any data with third parties. The only data leaving your device is what you voluntarily export via the "Export to CSV" function, which you then control entirely (e.g. share by email or cloud storage of your choice).
PulseFlow is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, please contact us and we will ensure any locally stored data can be deleted.
PulseFlow is a wellness tool only and is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Heart rate readings are estimates based on remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) and may not be accurate. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:
View your data in the History screen at any time.
Export your data using the "Export to CSV" button.
Delete all data by uninstalling the app.
We may update this Privacy Policy when new features are added (e.g. advertising, cloud sync). The updated policy will be posted at this URL and the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
