Information We Collect
PulseCall does not require account registration and does not ask users to sign in.
The app may process the following information that you enter or configure inside the app:
- Caller name
- Caller number
- Call note or script
- Selected preset or template
- Call delay and repeat settings
- Vibration setting
- Screen flash setting
- Auto-end call setting
- In-app queue and activity history
This information is used only to provide the fake incoming call features inside the app.
Information Stored on Your Device
PulseCall is designed as a local-first app. Caller details, call settings, presets, queue items, and activity history are handled on the device.
At this stage, the app does not upload this information to a server controlled by us.
If future versions add cloud backup, analytics, advertising, accounts, or online sync, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are used.
Permissions and Device Features
PulseCall may use device features needed for its core functionality.
Vibration
The app may use device vibration to make a fake incoming call feel realistic. Vibration is used only when the user enables it in the app.
Audio Playback
The app plays a ringtone audio file bundled with the app. The app does not record audio.
Screen Display / Flash Effect
The app may show a screen flash effect during an incoming call simulation if the user enables this option. This is a visual effect inside the app screen.
Information We Do Not Collect
PulseCall does not knowingly collect:
- Real phone call logs
- SMS or messages
- Contacts from your address book
- Microphone recordings
- Camera data
- Location data
- Photos or media files
- Advertising ID
- Payment information
- Government ID information
- Health information
PulseCall does not make real phone calls and does not access your actual mobile network call history.
How We Use Information
Information entered in the app is used to:
- Display a fake incoming call screen
- Schedule a fake call timer
- Show caller details selected by the user
- Play ringtone audio
- Trigger vibration if enabled
- Show screen flash if enabled
- Maintain the in-app queue and activity history
- Preview configured call screens
We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or selling user data.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell user data.
We do not share caller names, caller numbers, notes, templates, schedules, or activity history with third parties.
The app currently does not transmit this information to our servers.
Third-Party Services and SDKs
PulseCall may use Flutter and app libraries needed to provide app functionality, such as audio playback and vibration support.
These libraries are used for local app functionality. The app does not intentionally use them to collect, sell, or share personal data.
If third-party analytics, ads, crash reporting, cloud services, or similar services are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what data is collected and why.
Data Retention
Data entered into PulseCall is retained only as long as it remains in the app on your device.
Because the app is local-first, you can remove local app data by:
- Clearing the app's storage from Android settings
- Uninstalling the app
- Clearing in-app queue/history where available
Scheduled calls based on in-app timers may stop if the app is closed, killed, or removed by the operating system.
Data Deletion
You may delete app data by clearing app storage or uninstalling PulseCall from your device.
If you contact us at the privacy contact email, we can answer questions about data practices. However, because the app currently does not maintain a server-side account or cloud database, we may not have any server-side user data to delete.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user privacy.
Because PulseCall currently keeps user-entered call data on the device, protecting your device with a screen lock and keeping your operating system updated can help protect your local data.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
PulseCall is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
User Choices
You control the information you enter into PulseCall.
You can choose:
- Whether to enter a caller name or number
- Whether to show or hide the caller number
- Whether to enable vibration
- Whether to enable screen flash
- Whether to use presets or custom caller details
- Whether to keep or clear scheduled calls and history
International Users
PulseCall may be used in different countries. By using the app, you understand that your app data is primarily handled on your own device.
If future online services are added, data handling practices will be updated in this Privacy Policy.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we update it, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
