Joining the lab
Prospective lab members
We have multiple MS and PhD research projects available. If you are interested, please contact me with your CV and a cover letter to set up an interview.
Our lab is always interested in undergraduates wanting to conduct research, either for credit or a paid position in the lab. Have a look at our research areas. If you are interested in working in the lab, contact Dr. Hoyos-Villegas with a copy of your CV, unofficial transcripts, some explanation of why you are interested in working in the lab and we can set up an interview. Here and here are some resources for undergrads.
I am always seeking motivated MS or PhD graduate students interested in plant breeding and genetics. Please have a look at our open positions and consider applying. Alternatively, I am always keen on supporting funding applications from graduate students. See below for funding sources.
If you are a talented postdoctoral researcher interested in pulse breeding and genetics, look no further!. I am always interested in postdocs joining my lab. I encourage postdocs interested in writing research proposal to contact me.
