Politicians divide, milk, make hay
Ideologies soil, spoil, split our ways
Metaphysics, theism, theology, spirit,
Philosophies, faiths, rituals, religions
Principles, Tenets, dogmas, doctrines
Epics, puranas, myths, lores
Prose, verse, hymns, couplets
Thee personified, prayed, sought
From nature, matter, wonders,
Thee visualized omnipotent
From dreams, illusions, beliefs
Thee accepted omnipresent
From senses, nescience, science,
Thee acknowledged omniscient
From fear, scare, caution
Thee deemed immortal
Of devotion, respect, love
Thee beatified beautiful
In form, substance and pose
Thee manifested and idolated
In temples, mosques, churches
Thee nurtured and deified
In murals, sculptures, scriptures
Thee portrayed and idolized
In body, mind, conscience
Thee enshrined and revered
Of formless Nirgunabrahman
Resplendent Sagunabrahman
Sans agnostic, hedonist, nihilism
Thee sanctified, consecrated, venerated
Of ignorance, doubts, knowledge,
Thee worshipped as probable
For turiya, fame, power, pelf
Thee entrusted and administered
Be peace on earth for survival
Unite and save us from bigotry
Yes or no, we are beholden
Till thy kingdom truly come
