Religions, laws, logic gets nowhere
Gods -bystanders in realms everywhere
For, humans contrive, strive for humane good
if nothing, but for greater common good
Proverbs, morals, ethos, edicts
mores, values, virtues, fair enough.
more in breach in earthly pursuits
but try, do, intent, good enough!
Oh! preach? Activity, not result
Do, make, alter one's destiny
Yours to do, not for results
No choice, not inaction
Born to live, perform and perish,
Senses, knowledge, gadgets
arts, science, sports in vein,
Time, tests, must bear in sane
Do, work, struggle, create
Sweat, retry, again, harder
against adversity , all odds.
Improve, refine, tune, perfect
Yes, find our forte, we all must
That motto indeed is the credo.
Not fault, debase, complain,
corrupt, exploit, subvert, squander
time, money, talents, opportunities,
but help, focus, team, lead
Excel the goal, raise the bars,
set examples, share, care.
Gain satisfaction, achievement
Fame, fortune, if you would.
