Excitement is rising as temps are falling…
And we have fun things in store for you!
📚Congratulations Pueblo! You completely smashed our $20,000 goal with a staggering… drum roll:
$31,573 raised thru READ-A-THON!!!!!
In addition to Read-a-Thon funds, our Book Fair pulled $16,182 in gross sales and $6,999 in Scholastic Dollars! WAY TO GO PUEBLO!
*Pledgestar worked on correcting the minutes glitch last week, but if your child's reading log is still incorrect, you may re-enter the minutes. We apologize for the inconvenience!
Thank you, Read-a-Thon Committee, Book Fair volunteers & special thanks to PTO VP of Fundraising, Katie Yeats. Katie - we’ll miss you when Mohave gets you next year!
One last reminder: For those sending a check and those with matching donations, please get them in ASAP.
🍕PUEBLO PIZZA IN THE PARK🍕
Thursday, grab an easy dinner from Barro’s at Talking Stick (or have it delivered!), then head to Indian School Park to hang out with fellow Pueblo families. Adults can socialize & get a few updates from Principal Hummon while kids play. 😉 We even have the license so you can BYOB to sip with the BYOPizza you’re enjoying for dinner.
You don’t have to do Barro’s, but they’re giving 25% back to Pueblo…just mention the Pueblo dine-out when ordering or enter it in the notes on-line.
We’re meeting at 5:30 but drop in whenever you can. Come after the game - you have to eat anyway! We’ll be there till 8ish.
This is a casual evening with music, fun and games & an easy chance to support our school while you’re at it!

Purple Pledge Slips will come home in folders & extras will be available in the front office.

Take turns reading a page (echo reading).
Read at the same time (choral reading).
Pick a few tricky words and practice them before re-reading.
Celebrate progress (“Wow, you read that faster today!”).
Most importantly—make it fun! Kids love familiar stories, and every re-read is helping them grow!
