PuckTap Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 3, 2026
PuckTap is a simple hockey statistics tracker designed for parents and guardians.
Information Stored in the App
PuckTap allows users to enter player names, jersey numbers, positions, team names, opponents, game scores, dates, and player statistics such as goals, assists, shots, and plus/minus.
Current Data Storage
The current version of PuckTap stores this information locally on the user’s device. PuckTap does not require an account and does not transmit this hockey-stat information to a PuckTap server.
Children’s Information
PuckTap is intended to be used by parents and guardians. A parent or guardian may choose to enter information about a child for the purpose of privately tracking hockey statistics. Children are not required to create accounts or directly provide personal information to PuckTap.
Data Sales and Advertising
PuckTap does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for advertising.
Analytics
The current version of PuckTap does not include third-party advertising or analytics services controlled by PuckTap. Apple may provide standard App Store, TestFlight, or diagnostic information under Apple’s own privacy practices.
Data Deletion
Because the current version stores PuckTap data locally on the device, users can remove their stored data by deleting the relevant entries in the app or deleting the app from the device.
Future Features
If PuckTap later adds accounts, cloud backup, analytics, subscriptions, or other services that change how information is collected or processed, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are released.
