Bridging clinical care, public health education, and community resilience
I'm a Registered Nurse, Certified Case Manager, and Public Health professional with more than 30 years of experience helping improve health outcomes through clinical care, population health, education, and evidence-based practice.
Throughout my career, I've worked across primary care, long-term care, home health, and managed care, supporting patients with complex health needs while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve quality, reduce health disparities, and strengthen community health.
Today, my work focuses on the intersection of healthcare and public health. I enjoy researching complex public health issues, translating scientific evidence into accessible educational resources, and creating practical tools that help individuals, healthcare professionals, and communities make informed decisions.
My professional interests include healthcare epidemiology, infection prevention, population health, environmental and climate health, health equity, emergency preparedness, healthcare quality improvement, and health communication.
This portfolio showcases my public health projects, research, educational resources, technical writing, and community work, reflecting my commitment to evidence-informed practice, lifelong learning, and improving the health of communities through prevention, education, and collaboration.
