Michael Moore is a famous film maker. His films focuses on various things his specific documentary " Where to Invade Next" shows himself traveling to different countries and trying to break down those countries view points on certain things. Moore travels to Canada and European countries to get views on education system, health care, work and etc. Moore wanted to explore the comparison and differences between the United States and the countries he visited. What he discovered was shocking how other countries operated and tackled problems. For example in Portugal people do not get arrested for having any drugs on them or dealing it but in the United States if your caught with weed your more likely would get a ticket and if your found with pounds of weed your looking at jail time. Moore's documentary shows the flaws The United States have in important different sectors. Cause other countries focused on important things, how to bring new changes, and how to help those citizens while in The United States your limited to resources.
After watching the documentary Where to Invade Next I was questioning a lot of things that were happening in the United States. The most important question to me was how is the United States the greatest country on earth while were behind in so many things when it comes to education, health, work and so much more. The documentary made question is it better living in those other countries instead of the United States? One part that stood out to me was how Slovenia offered free college while in the United States you have too pay even if you get financial aid or a scholarship there would be a chance where you have to take a loan out to cover the rest. It makes you want you to go back in time and possibly learned abroad in those countries cause college is free. Overall no college student wants to be in debt it does not matter the amount cause I believe college should be free it gives everyone any opportunity to further their education no matter their income level is. Cause let's be real some students drop out of college because it is too expensive and we might not have known what that student could have been it could have been a scientist, doctor or software engineer it could have been anything but their opportunity was taken away because they did not have the funds for college. I personally think the United States should stop trying to be money hungry trying to put a price on every thing and they should heavily focus on the citizens. It does not make sense that in the United States healthcare is not free but in France it is healthcare should be free for everybody. How is it that in France students are given gourmet food while in the United States the food given in school is just unhealthy and what is crazy we have the highest health problems compared to other countries. If I was suppose to live in a country I would live in Canada it has a lot more opportunities , the healthcare is universal so it would help those who are not even Canadian citizens, and one of the most important thing is college is very affordable. Before the United States can say they are the best country government officials need to take a look at around and see what other countries are doing cause what their doing is actually working and United States needs to change their ways because we are behind in many aspects.
