The Home Screen

This is the home screen - you start here after launching PUBG - and return here after finishing a round.

• Mouse over the words "CLICK TO PLAY" in the top left corner.
• From here you can choose your region and game mode.
• 'Left Click' the server and game mode you want and then 'Left Click' "PLAY" to start a match.

NA: North America, EU: Europe, AS: Asia, OC: Oceanic, SA: South America, SEA: South East Asia

• SOLO: All players compete against each other.
• DUOS: You and 1 ally compete against other two man teams.
• SQUAD: You and up to 3 allies compete against other four man teams.

• To invite friends to play - Mouse over the bottom left corner of the screen where it says "Steam Friends".
• A window will appear. At the top it says "search nickname".
• Click there to type in your friend's name and then click "ADD".
• If your friend is currently playing in a match they will appear as Offline - wait for them to finish their game and try inviting them again.

• To change your character's outfit or appearance click the word "CHARACTER" at the top of the screen.
• Left click an Item to equip it.
• You can convert unwanted items into Battle Points - which you can use to unlock more crates.
• Right click an Item then click on the BP logo to convert the item into Battle Points.
• You will accumulate Battle Points from playing the game. Doing damage, killing other players and winning the game all give BP.

If you'd like to change your character's hairstyle, face, sex or race. Click "CHANGE APPEARANCE" on the left side of the screen , this will spend 3000 of your BP.

• To unlock cosmetic crates click on "REWARDS" near the top right corner of the screen.
• Click on "RECEIVE" to buy a crate with your Battle Points.
• After you've clicked RECEIVE go back to the "CHARACTER" tab.
• Look towards the bottom right section labeled "Crate & Key"
• Click on a crate to open it. Whatever was inside will appear in the "WARDROBE" section
• Your item will be highlighted to signify that is a new item.
• The first crate you unlock each week costs 700BP.

Every Sunday the price will reset back to 700bp. The second crate each week costs 1400BP, then 2100BP for the third, 4200BP for the fourth, 5600BP for the fifth and 7000BP for the sixth.

• The Gamescom invitational crates require a key to open. To buy a key go back to the "CHARACTER" tab and click on your Gamescom crate. A new window will open and you will see the option to purchase a key on the top left corner of the window.

The "STATISTICS" tab in the top right corner will show you the leaderboard and your personal stats.
