Through your support of the PSES PTO, we are able to provide art instruction for four weeks throughout the 2022-2023 school year. We hope to continue this enrichment program for many years to come.
Justin Blackmon knew early in his childhood that art would be the creative outlet he would use to speak to the world around him. His roots started in the foothills of Albany, KY. Every year he would enter his art into the local festival's poster contest. Little did he know that the same poster contest would be the start of a lifelong passion and drive for the arts.
He went on to continue his education at The Art Institute of Atlanta. While living in the city, Justin continued to grow and enrich himself in the arts. With more than 20 years of professional experience, he has practiced in a range of mediums and styles.
Justin resides in Putnam County with his wife Emily. He is the father of twin kindergarteners that attend Prescott South Elementary. His work can be found in multiple galleries locally and throughout the southeast. Justin is also the board-appointed president of Art Round Tennessee, a local non-profit that ensures the preservation and growth of art and artists in the Upper Cumberland.
