Power electronics encompasses techniques for the conversion of electrical power from one form to another. Circuits designed for these purposes, 'power electronic converters', often consist of an arrangement of semiconductor switches with appropriately designed passive elements. 

I work on the design and development of non-contact current sensors for power electronic applications.
