I feel like professional DJ's/ producers who release seasonal mixes (Claptone, Lane 8, Zimmer...) have got a good technique down for post-production on their mixes. I want to figure one out for myself. I've currently been recording in Traktor with -6db headroom and then use the LoudMax limiter in Audacity with a -4db threshold to bring some of that volume back. For one, these mixes still sound a bit quieter than the professional mixes on SoundCloud, and two, I feel like the LoudMax limiter distorts the sound quality of the mix (I could increase the threshold of the LoudMax limiter if I wanted my mixes to be louder and closer to the levels I'm aiming for but I believe this would distort the sound quality even more).

On April 20, 2018, Kardon released his seventh extended play Wook Laser via Never Say Die's Black Label sub-label. The 4-track extended play was well-received, with it being described as encapsulating "everything that is right in riddim at the current moment" by an EDM Sauce editor.[7]

On April 17, 2019, Australian dubstep producer PhaseOne released "Demon Hunter", a collaboration with Kardon, as part of his album Transcendency via Disciple.[14] EDM.com's Phil Sclippa commented on the song whilst reviewing the album, stating that it featured Kardon's "insane sound design and riddim elements, along with some entertaining samples."[15] 2351a5e196
